Let's Talk About Race, Part 2

As of the time I published this post, already more than 600 people have read Part 1 of "Let's Talk About Race". It is so encouraging to see that parents want to learn how to talk to their kids about these important and difficult issues. There is so much for all of us to learn so we can better understand ourselves and each other. In my life skills classes, students learn a lot about perspective-taking and acceptance. The more we can do that now the better we will build a future for our kids. Here are a few more resources if you are looking for them. I hope the conversations we have in the coming weeks will help us all to understand race and racism better.  As always, take care and keep learning!
