How to Handle Worry

I have shared a couple of lessons with students on how to handle worry, and it has been fun to see how some students are doing the activities.  Fourth graders read the book, "Worry Says What?" and second graders read the book , "Wilma Jean the Worry Machine." Both are published by National Center for Youth Issues and shared with permission. If your child has been struggling with worry during social distancing, please consider reading these stories and make a worry machine or worry box/jar to put worries into. The rule is that worries can't be in your brain and in the machine/box/jar at the same time. We need to give our brains a break!
